This 1-day Emergency First Aid course is designed to equip participants with the core skills and confidence needed to respond effectively to the most common and life-threatening emergencies. • Scene safety and self-protection
• Primary survey: Airway, Breathing, Circulation (ABC)
• Basic secondary checks and vital signs (brief overview)

🚨 Emergency Procedures

• Emergency action steps: what to do first
• How to call emergency services effectively

❤️ Cardiac First Response

• Recognising cardiac arrest, heart attack & stroke (FAST)
• CPR for Adults (Child/Infant optional depending on time)
• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Choking response for adults (overview for children & infants)

🩹 Medical Emergencies

• Asthma and breathing difficulties
• Diabetic emergencies
• Seizures (Epilepsy)
• Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis (including EpiPen use)

🚑 Injury Management

• Bleeding control and wound care
• Burns: immediate first aid response
• Recognition and treatment of shock
• Fracture awareness and spinal precautions (overview)

🧍 Unconscious Patient Care

• Recovery position
• Precautions for head, neck & spinal injury (basic)

🧼 Infection Control

• Use of PPE
• Hand hygiene and disease prevention
